Vocerion brings everything an ISP or VoIP operator needs into a single platform: call routing, per-second billing, cloud PBX, resellers and monitoring. Carrier-grade infrastructure, in our cloud or on your own servers.
A softswitch is an operator’s telephone exchange, built in software. It receives your customers’ calls, picks the best route to reach the destination, works out what they cost and what you earn, and shows you everything in real time.
Vocerion does it all from one panel: you manage customers, extensions, numbers and rate plans; the platform takes care of the rest, from the first ring to the invoice.
A customer’s PBX gets hacked and runs up two thousand euros to a satellite destination in three hours. No limit is exceeded: the customer is postpaid, the channels are the usual ones. Usually you find out from the carrier’s invoice. Vocerion sees it as it happens, with three layers of defence.
Normal traffic: three calls within Italy, spend in line with usual.
An extension registers from a new IP address, abroad.
14 calls in ten minutes to +882: a destination never called in 60 days.
Grey zone: the score alone is not enough. The assistant is asked for an opinion.
AI assistant — "All calls last between 58 and 62 seconds, to satellite prefixes, at night, from a customer who has never called outside Italy. This does not look like a campaign: it is almost certainly a hacked PBX."
The spend watch exceeds its threshold of €50 per hour: the customer is blocked.
An email goes to whoever manages the customer, with the signals and the assistant’s opinion.
Spent before the block: €41. By dawn, with no defence, it would have been over €2,000.
Every two minutes, customer by customer: spend, calls or minutes above a threshold in a period, even towards a single prefix. They alert, or they block.
It builds a portrait of every customer from 60 days of traffic: how much they spend, when they call, where they call. Every ten minutes it compares the last hour with the portrait and gives a 0–100 score that can be read and explained.
In borderline cases, between 35 and 65 points, it reads the numbers and says in plain words whether it sees fraud or an honest explanation: a campaign, a trade fair, a new office. Its opinion goes into the case and the email.
It works on calls that have already ended, in a separate process. If it is slow or silent, no call waits.
Blocking stays with the thresholds you set, predictable and defensible. The AI adds an explanation, not a verdict.
No names, no phone numbers, no customer identifiers: only international prefixes, counts and amounts.
It is enabled from the panel, with the key stored encrypted. Without it, watches and scoring work just the same.
A new customer is not judged until it has at least seven days and fifty calls of history: to someone just starting out, everything would look unusual.
Call centres and phone scams change number every week: a hand-kept list is an outdated list. Vocerion re-downloads it by itself from a reputation list that classifies numbers with artificial intelligence, and applies it to every incoming call, for all your customers at once.
We enable it for you: the list receives the address of the feed with your token, stored encrypted. The panel shows only the domain.
From every five minutes to once a week, as you decide. And when you need it, there is "Update now".
Only https and public addresses. A source that answers with nothing does not empty the list, and the numbers you added by hand stay where they are.
During the call the match looks at every form of the number, with and without prefix. And next to each number the panel shows how many calls it has stopped.
Nuisance-call blocking is an additional Vocerion service: it includes the list, its updates and the connection to your installation. Switch it on whenever you like; the rest of the platform stays the same. If you prefer, you can connect your own feed: any source that publishes numbers at an https address will do.
From carrier management to the end customer’s PBX: every piece talks to the others, with no integrations to invent.
LCR by price or priority, number normalization, failover between trunks and continuous health monitoring.
Buy and sell rate plans, margin per call, prepaid and postpaid credit, and a tamper-proof accounting ledger.
Extensions, ring groups, queues, voicemail, IVR and call flows for every customer, managed from the same panel.
Multi-level structure: each reseller has its own customers, rate plans and brand, isolated from the others.
Live active calls, detail for every call, reports on traffic, ASR, ACD and profit.
Threshold watches, an engine that learns what is normal for each customer and an AI assistant that explains borderline cases. Roles, 2FA and audit complete the defence.
The same softswitch carries wholesale traffic and the phone on your customer's desk. Only the configuration changes.
A SIP trunk to the PBX your customer already runs, or our cloud PBX: extensions, IVR, queues and voicemail.
Prepaid or postpaid, top-ups by card or PayPal, a self-service area and a phone in the browser with nothing to install.
Inbound and outbound carriers, LCR with failover, channel limits, minimum margin and supplier invoice checking.
Every reseller sells under its own brand, rates and customers, across levels and without seeing the others.
Access numbers, PINs, balance announced on the phone, card batches and expiry dates: the full calling-card business.
Booths with open and closed accounts, receipts and cash handling; for hotels, wake-up calls, DND and room billing.
Auto-dialer campaigns with a recorded message or an IVR, pacing and retries, exportable results. Handy for alerts and reminders.
A classic-style API with about 135 methods, plus REST and JSON: connect your ERP, CRM or online shop.
Two recurring questions: where to run the platform, and what changes compared with a softswitch built on yesterday’s open-source stack. Here are the answers, in tables.
The "traditional softswitch" column describes the typical pattern of platforms built around a single telephony engine; it does not refer to any particular product.
One web interface for administrators, resellers and customers. Pick a screen: the data moves just like in the real panel (sample data shown).
The online demo is a complete Vocerion installation with sample data: customers, rate plans, PBX, anti-fraud. The login credentials are shown on the sign-in page.
Everything the platform does today, grouped by area. Search for the feature you need.
This is what the platform does today. Mobile number portability (MNP) and live call listening are not included: if you need them, let’s talk.
No feature with that name. Write to us: it may already be on the way.
Sees the whole platform: carriers, buy rates, margins, system and licence. Can log in as any user to help them, with every action recorded.
Manages their own customers, prices and brand: their own logo, colours and domain, without seeing anyone else’s data.
Personal area with extensions, numbers, calls, rates, payments and invoices. Access protected with two-factor authentication.
In under a second Vocerion identifies the caller, checks their credit, picks the cheapest carrier and connects the two parties. Press the button and watch it happen.
Choose how calls are charged and instantly see what you earn. Move the slider: it is the same calculation Vocerion runs on every CDR.
Example with a carrier cost of €0.0200/min, billed per second.
Enable only the features you need, when you need them. Every add-on is switched on from the licence, with nothing to reinstall.
A complete phone system for every customer, with no hardware in the office.
You choose where Vocerion runs: we host your infrastructure in our cloud, or we install it in yours. Same features, same panel.
We move your voice infrastructure into our cloud: no servers to buy or manage, and you are up and running in days.
Vocerion installs on your own servers. No traffic goes through third parties: you stay in control of your network.
CONTROL is our external platform: every minute it checks that your installation’s services are responding. If one or more stop, it sends an SMS to your technical contact’s number; when everything is back, a second SMS tells you that you can go back to sleep.
It is an extra service, sold in SMS bundles: switch it on if it helps you sleep soundly, and top up whenever you like. The rest of the platform stays exactly as it is.
A guided setup installs the platform, tells you which ports to open on each machine and tests the audio by having two real extensions call each other.
Connect your carriers, import rate plans, create customers and resellers.
First extensions registered, first calls, first CDRs. Traffic is flowing.
New releases and add-ons arrive from the panel, with a backup before every step.
The same services in two shapes. You start on a single server; when downtime stops being acceptable, you split it by role without rebuilding anything.
Yes. With Vocerion Cloud the platform runs in our cloud: we take care of servers, network, updates, backups and monitoring. You manage customers and traffic from the panel, just as on-premise.
No. Only a threshold watch that you set can block. The assistant reads borderline cases and writes an explanation; it works on calls that have already ended, slows down no call and receives only prefixes, counts and amounts, never names or phone numbers.
ISPs, VoIP operators, wholesalers and system integrators who want to offer telephony to their customers under their own brand, managing traffic, prices and resellers independently.
A Class 5 softswitch serves end users directly: extensions, numbers, PBX, voicemail, as well as transit towards carriers. In practice it covers both the operator side and the customer side.
Yes. Customers, extensions, numbers and rate plans can be imported, and users can log in with the credentials they already use.
No. The control plane and the voice plane are separate: calls in progress continue even if the management interface is not responding.
Each installation has a signed licence bound to the server, listing the active add-ons and the expiry date. To add a feature, just update the licence.
Yes. Vocerion connects by SIP trunk to any compatible PBX: it handles extensions and voice menus, while Vocerion takes care of routing, numbers, rates and billing. Alternatively you can use the PBX built into the platform.
